Ashton deems privacy a central issue of Internet use. Ashton attempts to have reasonable measures in place to assure the anonymity of visitors to the Ashton website. Ashton feels as part of responsible disclosure that Ashton website users are aware of what information is being logged.
To maintain and improve site quality and integrity, IP addresses are logged (the Internet Protocol addresses of computers). This log is a standard method of reporting to statistically find out which parts of our website are visited and how long visitors spend there. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE AG131 PACK COMPETITION
1. The draw can only be entered by people who have purchased a copy of Derwent Howard’s XBox and Playstation magazines.
2. To enter the Ashton AG131 Pack competition, an entrant must enter the code from an XBox magazine or a Playstation Magazine on the Ashton website, www.ashtonmusic.com.
3. There is a limit of one entry per person.
4. Promoter: Australis Music Pty Ltd – 88 Bourke Rd, Alexandria NSW 2015
5. An entrant must fill out a form on the Ashton website. The questions asked may require giving some personal information which may be used by Australis Music.
6. Entry is open to residents of Australia, and persons conducting business in Australia who fulfill the entry requirements except the directors, management, employees and contractors of the Promoter, its related companies, suppliers and agencies associated with the competition, and the immediate families of the above listed persons.
7. The competition commences November 1, 2006 and the competition closes on December 31, 2006.
8. One person will be drawn at random by a staff member at Australis Music on January 10, 2007 at 12pm.
9. The winner (there is only one prize) will receive an Ashton AG131 Electric Guitar Pack RRP $229. There will be a 12 month warranty on the guitar pack.
10. Australis Music will contact you via phone and mail if you are the winner by January 15, 2007.
11. The Promoter will be responsible for delivering the prize to the winner by January 25, 2007.
12. If the promoter is unable to contact the winner by 10/40/07, the prize will be re-drawn on 15/4/07 and the new winner will be contacted accordingly.
13. The winner of the competition will be published on the Ashton website – www.ashtonmusic.com and will be notified by phone and mail.
14. The Promoter's decision is final & no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. Entries become property of the Promoter.
15. The Promoter, its contractors, employees and agents, will not be liable for claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect/consequential loss) as a result of, arising out of, or in any way connected with the competition &/or its prizes, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.
